Bella - Taking huge leaps in the air - hoping that she will land on someone or something (not helped when she is BLIND as a bat!!) Pepsi - Running off with mums undies.......
PETS BEST HABIT:
Bella - When you are sick she loves to give big kisses and hugs. Never leaves your side when your in bed ill. Pepsi - Digging up weeds in the garden, she even trained herself to pull out the roots!
Bella and Pepsi are very special girls. They are my babies, and if the truth be told, they rule the house and we are their pets...lol Bella went blind when she was just a puppy. A genetic disorder She also has terrible allergies and other issues. She is a special girl, distinguished by her lovely white markings which are rare for dachshunds. Pepsi has her own little story.. When she was 6 weeks old, we nearly lost her. She was in Doggie hospital for over a week on drips and all sorts of terrible drugs. She had a bad case of gastro, which, in a dog smaller then your hand, proves to be fatal. We visited her for hours every day, and whispered to her how special she was and that she had to get better. Fortuntaly she fought her way back and as a result we have cherished every second that she has been with us. Recently, Pepsi had a mole removed from her little head for fears of a melanoma. But, thank the lords again.... she was ok and we once again counted our blessings. Both my girls have needed special care at some point in there short lives. We believe that we were meant to have these two pets, a higher power new that they would come to a good home where lots of love and care would see them through theire ails. The licks couldnt be sweeter
