Tess is one of the best pets I have owned. In her near 10 years of life she has cost us a small fortune (about the size of a small house...lol). With ear problems, teeth, skin then Pancreatits which nearly killed her, she is very special to s and spoilt rotten. I think I stress more about her then she does about us!
If I'm worried about her I bring her to the shop with me when I have to work. I have a wonderful Boss (Colleen) who tells me to bring her in, even when there is a storm and she will be at home alone. Tess doesnt do any special tricks, except for jump up and spin around for food until she is nearly dizzy.
She sleeps on our bed with her own sheet at the end of the bed. We also have 2 cats, one is 18yrs old and the other is 7yrs old. Tess is the boss and lets them know, she can be jelous of them, but not nasty.
Its only been the last 4 years that we could take her in the car without stressing badly. We drove to Emerald about 4 years ago she had to take a Valium to calm her, 10 hours trip with her sitting on my knee, and not once going to sleep. So who was stuffed when we got there.... I was...lol
Her black fur is going grey now especially her ears and her fur is very soft and silky. Well thats about it, I just hope we have another 10 years with her, (the kids have grown up and left home) she is the baby now.
